This one actually has a all inclusive list of what guns would be legal.. aka, if its not on the list you can't have it. All Assault rifles are banned and similar provisions to the 94 AWB attached.

There is no doubt that this one will fail - however, please note that it was introduced by a REPUBLICAN and currently co-sponsored by a REPUBLICAN. This of course, pales in comparison to HR1022 which is a democrat's play house. However - anyone in CT, NJ, DE, or IL needs to be keenly aware of what there reps are doing. (R) is often a safer bet than (D) when it comes to firearm rights; but its not a guarantee. Please verify where your representatives stand before you make a voting decision.

If you're in  any of those four states remember these names:

Mark Kirk(R) - IL
Michael Castle(R) - DE
Michael Ferguson(R) - NJ
Christopher Shays(R) - CT

Do your best to make sure these four men have an express pass out of the house of representatives.

Us here in California have to deal with a "list" as well. The ban works out well for us because the list was designed (and forced) to tell us which manufacture and model were banned. So, if it isn't on the list, it's legal. Hence, my Stag collection. Once our list was approved, they couldn't add to it. And, new manufactures are popping up every month.

Dealing with these Off List Lowers (OLLs) isn't so bad. The ban looks exactly like the one that started in California. As more and more of us fought it, the more refined it became. Eventually the government was forced to develop a list of actual firearms that were banned. Hence, the Kassler List.

I wish the all of the firearm owners in those states good luck. Remember, join the NRA, speak your mind, and VOTE, VOTE, VOTE, VOTE!

Shays was defeated in November by democrat Jim Himes.

I suspect that they, the demorats and RINO's,  will dust off the 2008 version of the Assault Weapons Ban, beef it up a little bit to add tighter controls and perhaps even registration (I think they will try to sneak registration through under the guise of some sort of AWB) and reintroduce it within the next few weeks.

Us bitter clingers are going to have to cling tighter than ever.

What do you think really that the chances are that any of this will pass in the entire country? I could see it in some liberal states, but I cant see the tards really getting away with an all out assault rifle ban. Who would enfore it? Who would be stupid enough to. I think that would start Civil War Two. I think they will get us some other ways. Better stock up now fellas. Better hide some stuff too. Big Bro is watchin us here too....ABN.

There is no telling if it will pass or not. I know we as Americans think that our represenitives will vote the way their constituants want but look how fast that stimulas package passed. I seriously doubt that  many of congress read all of it. Whether what exact format this new awb ban bill will come across as they will have some b.s. title for it. So like the Boy Scouts say "be prepared"

The gun grabbers will do anything and everything they can do to destroy the second amendment and trash the constitution.

I don't know if they can pass one or not but the ATF would be more than happy to enforce it bro.

A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed upon.

We must all fight for this write, define the word "Infringe" and think about how far they are already pushing this amendment, and now they want to push it further, These laws are completely out of hand as is, give them an inch and they will take a mile.
