Is it illegal to sell ammo to people without owning a gun shop or a buisness license??

Everyone I talk to gets raped on there ammo prices, and I have top secret location where I buy bulk, and it's veeeerry affordable.

Thought I might start selling ammo for some side cash, any legal advice would be dandy, thanks in advance.

I am currently in California.

dont know about laws in cali but im pretty sure you can sell ammo outside of cali. i know they just passed some stuff about pistol ammo. you might be able to sell it online to people out of state.

As long as your not making it. If the producer has an FFL to manufacturer ammunition, then you are okay to sell it. (no you don't need a copy of it).

Illegal to sell your own or your buddies reloads or what not.

You are in Kommiefornia... don't forget to get a license to re-sell products from the State. You will also need to check your county laws regarding this. Pretty soon you will need to have take a fingerprint of those buying handgun ammuntion. Also, there are some cities that do not allow internest sales of ammo nor do they allow unrecorded sale of ammo.

It really is all going to boil down to where you are in California. Be careful.

I once got into this maybe a decade ago here in Flori-Duh......

Was selling at the GunShows and by "Word of Mouth".....The only problem I ran into was with some ArseHole Tax Collector that was at a Show Bust'in Balls(Probably an Anti-Gunner) and me without a Tax Certificate.

Don't really know "How" cheap your getting Ammo but I used to buy by the Pallet(10K), Never really got beyond it just being a hobby and didn't get rich either.

You will need a Tax Certificate to be Legal, And will have to report/pay taxes(Monthly like a business) - Without one they could hang/make an example of you.

(Just how Cheap is your Ammo???)

Legal advice you say?  Oh, you came to the right place.  Well, not really.

Tacical Pork...famous last words with anything related to firearms.

Must be a lot of profit in making ammo, cuz I always see the gun show guys pimping in their fancy whips.  Again, not really.
